Parliamentary Joint Committee on Children and Young People

The Parliamentary Joint Committee on Children and Young People is a joint statutory committee which monitors and reviews our work and consists of three members from the Legislative Council (Upper House) and four from the Legislative Assembly (Lower House).

The Joint Committee also examines trends and changes in services and issues affecting children and young people, and makes recommendations on the need for changes to the functions and procedures of the Office of the Advocate.
