Children's Week 21-29 October 2017
Design Competition

About the competition

Draw, paint, design... on paper, on canvas, on a computer... the only limit is your imagination, and the ability to send us a photo of it.

Engage your creative side and be in with an opportunity to win a GoPro for yourself and one for your school/organisation/community group or club, a $100 voucher or a $50 voucher. PLUS have your design printed on ties and scarves to be worn by NSW opinion leaders. Copies will be provided to the NSW Premier, the Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP, exhibited in NSW Parliament House during NSW Children's Week and will be exhibited on the ACYP website and in ACYP reports.

Take your inspiration from what over 4,000 children and young people across NSW said is most important to them.

Background

More than 4,000 children and young people accross NSW gave feedback to the Advocate for Children and Young people which informed the themes of the first whole of government three-year Strategic Plan for Children and Young People in NSW.

Last year hundrends of children and young people sent in photos that represent their true diversity.

This year, we are asking children and young people in NSW to show us visually what the themes of the Plan mean to them.

We've heard it in words, seen it in photos... Now we want to see it in children's imaginations...
