This inquiry was established by the Legislative Assembly Committee on Law and Safety to examine the current situation in New South Wales regarding e-cigarette use (vaping), its prevalence among children and young people, and the impact of programs and services aimed at preventing uptake.
The inquiry looked at the effectiveness of New South Wales’ current regulatory framework and ways to address challenges in enforcement and compliance. The Committee also considered how New South Wales can work with the Federal Government to implement reforms on e-cigarette products.
