Deena

Deena is 15-years-old and lives in the Hunter region of NSW.

Her passion for community connection earned her a place in the Top 40 of the 2024 'Country to Canberra' competition. Deena has demonstrated leadership through her work experience with The Hon. Kate Washington MP and at the Sydney Institute of Marine Science.

Her advocacy for youth voices shines through her involvement in the Raise Our Voice Australia campaign, which has featured her on ABC Radio and in local newspapers.

Deena's commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship further underscores her determination to create a positive impact in her community and beyond.
