Ellen

Ellen is 20-years-old from Allambie Heights  who is studying a Bachelor of Communications with a double major in Writing and Publishing and Social and Political Science at the University of Technology.

Ellen currently works as a Lived Experience Storyteller with Batyr and a disability support work. In her public speaking roles, she advocates for a better world for autistic girls, gender diverse individuals and better health services for young people with eating disorders.

A member of our 2024 Youth Advisory Council, Ellen is returning as Chair given her demonstrated commitment to problem solving, leadership and the work of the Council.
