Nathanael is 17 years old and lives in Mosman. He lived in Zimbabwe until the age of nine, where he witnessed rampant inequality.
As a result of his own lived experience, he is passionate about advocating for young people who have unequal access to consistent, high-quality healthcare, especially in rural and remote areas.
He applied for the YAC to elevate the voices of those who are often left out of policy conversations and ensure that systemic gaps in youth healthcare are taken seriously. Nathanael hopes to use his role to turn lived experience into practical, evidence-based solutions that can genuinely improve outcomes for young people across NSW.
