Owen is 23-years-old and lives in Sydney. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Macquarie University with a scholarship from Sisters of Charity Foundation.While attending university, Owen also volunteers and participates in programs at Taronga Zoo. Owen has lived experience in immigration detention, out-of-home-care and the juvenile justice system.Passionate about improving support systems for young people, Owen is excited to represent the voices of young people often not heard in decision making processes. |
