Owen

Owen is 23-years-old and lives in Sydney. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Macquarie University with a scholarship from Sisters of Charity Foundation.

While attending university, Owen also volunteers and participates in programs at Taronga Zoo. Owen has lived experience in immigration detention, out-of-home-care and the juvenile justice system.

Passionate about improving support systems for young people, Owen is excited to represent the voices of young people often not heard in decision making processes.
