Terina, a 18-year-old with Māori and Pasifika ancestry, is based in St Claire, Sydney. They’re currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work at UNSW, and is passionate about advocating for their diverse area of Western Sydney. Terina has overcome mental health struggles and Out of Home Care which have shaped their resilience and compassion. In their free time, Terina actively contributes to the Western Sydney Headspace Youth Advisory Council, lending their unique perspective and insights to shape youth mental health initiatives. "I am excited to actively participate in YAC, as it allows me to showcase my unwavering dedication to supporting and advocating for the well-being of my peers", Terina said following their appointment. |
