ACYP has held face-to-face consultations in the South East and Tablelands to hear the voices of children and young people from these areas. The consultations covered a range of topics, more information can be found below.
In all ACYP consultations, at least 40% of children and young people that participate live in regional NSW. ACYP has heard back from children and young people across all regions, including those living in the South East and Tablelands. ACYP has produced a report of the views and experiences of more than 4,000 children and young people living in regional NSW.
Over 4,000 children and young people engaged in face-to-face consultations to inform the themes and direction of the NSW Strategic Plan for Children and Young People. These consultations included children and young people from 3 youth organisations from across the South East and Tablelands region. These voices informed the NSW Strategic Plan for Children and Young People.
