Zak is a 17-year-old from Mosman, Sydney. He attends Mosman High School and is passionate about youth detention, social equity for students in government and non-government schools, and life skills for young people. Zak was raised by his grandparents and has lived experience of Out of Home Care in NSW. Currently, he is a part of the Student Representative Council at his school, most recently advising on student and Indigenous voices in education in his area. "I am thrilled to join the 2024 YAC and explore ways to enhance the lives of young individuals in NSW. I am eager to learn and contribute towards improving their experiences", said Zak. |
