Submission to the inquiry into the Equality Legislation Amendment (LGBTIQA+) Bill 2023

The Legislative Assembly Committee on Community Services called in inquiry into the Equality Legislation Amendment (LGBTIQA+) Bill 2023 in March 2024. The inquiry examined the provisions of the Equality Legislation Amendment (LGBTIQA+) Bill 2023, including any operational issues for government agencies and ways to improve the safety and wellbeing of the LGBTIQA+ community. 

ACYP made a written submission on 14 April 2024. The NSW Advocate for Children and Young People, Ms Zoë Robinson also gave evidence on 1 May 2024.
