Ahmad is 17 years old and lives in Panania. Ahmad is a youth leader with a passion for inclusion, accessibility and youth voice. He is the Chair of the Canterbury Bankstown Youth Advisory Working Group and has represented young people on issues including disability rights, mental health, and civic engagement.
Ahmad applied for the YAC to amplify the voices of young people living with disability across NSW and to ensure their perspectives are reflected in government decision-making. His goal during his term is to advocate for meaningful change in accessibility, youth wellbeing, and opportunities for young people to shape their future.
