The Advocate for Children and Young People runs one-day Advocacy Training sessions at the ACYP office that you are invited to be a part of. At this training session you will learn key tools and techniques for embarking on you own advocacy journey.
The Advocacy Training day will build your knowledge in the process and techniques that will enable you to give weight to your ideas and objectives that you express in daily life, in your local community, at school or work, and in politics. If you feel like you want to make a change in the world, then this is the perfect place to start.
If you are under the age of 24 and live in NSW, we encourage you to register your interest below. You do not need to have any prior experience or knowledge to attend, just a passion to learn.
Please contact the ACYP office with any questions on: 9248 0970, or email us at: acyp@acyp.nsw.gov.au
There are many opportunities available for all children and young people across NSW to get involved and make a meaningful contribution. Find out more about the opportunities offered by ACYP on the Engagement page.

We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the First Nations Peoples of NSW and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future.
Informed by lessons of the past, ACYP is improving how we work with Aboriginal people and communities. We listen and learn from the knowledge, strength and resilience of Stolen Generations Survivors, Aboriginal Elders and Aboriginal communities.
