Prizes and winning
ACYP will conduct one draw for the Competition every quarter of the 2023/24 financial year from September 2023 to June 2024 (‘Quarterly Draw’).
Prizes will be drawn from ACYP’s head office at 219-241 Cleveland Street, Redfern NSW 2012.
Three (3) winners will be selected from each Quarterly Draw (that is, a first prize winner, a second prize winner and third prize winner).
Winners will select a prize from a list of age-appropriate items to be determined by ACPY. The value of the 1st prize is approximately $250, 2nd prize approximately $150 and the 3rd prize has an approximate value of $100.
Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash or any other prizes.
ACYP accepts no responsibility for any cost associated with the prize that may be incurred by you.
Winners will be chosen at random by a Microsoft Excel function designed to generate a random winner from a list of entrants. There will be two (2) ACPY representatives present to witness each Quarterly Draw.
Winners will be notified via phone or email (if provided). If the winner cannot be contacted by phone, an ACYP representative will leave a voice message and send an email to the winner thereafter, if an email address has been provided.
The winner must respond within 14 days of notification by email and/or voice message.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days, ACYP reserve the right to choose another winner (‘Redraw Winner’). The same process will be repeated if the Redraw Winner also cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 14 days.
Prizes can be collected from ACYP head office or delivered to winners via registered post to their postal address.
ACYP will not be responsible for any prize not received due to any error or omission in the address nominated by the winner, or for any late, lost or misdirected deliveries or mail. ACYP reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, accepting the entries with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of ACYP in all matters under its control is final and binding.
ACYP reserves the right to change the opening and closing dates/times or to accept late entries, at their sole discretion. ACYP’s decision in this regard will be final.
ACYP shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
