Jai is a proud Wailwan/Wiradjuri man who has spent 9 years on Darkinjung Country.Jai works tirelessly to advocate to both state and federal governments on behalf of young people in his community. He has facilitated regional and state youth forums, bespoke leadership development workshops and cultural immersion experiences for fellow local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people. He currently works at Barang Regional Alliance, an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation in the Central CoastJai has also recently been appointed as the NSW representative for the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Association’s First Nations Youth Roundtable on Housing and Homelessness. Jai will soon graduate with a Diploma in Leadership and Management from the Australian College of Commerce and Management.Jai has previously worked as a barber and loves to play golf. |
