Josh is 21 years old and lives in Baulkham Hills. Throughout high school he was a part of many different groups that contribute towards the school community, which led him to an interest in volunteering in his local community.
He is passionate about bridging the generational divide and increasing awareness of the root causes behind issues such as mental health and systemic inequalities, rather than focusing only on the surface level symptoms.
Josh applied for the YAC as he saw a great need for young people to participate and have their voices heard, especially those who are most vulnerable.

We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the First Nations Peoples of NSW and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future.
Informed by lessons of the past, ACYP is improving how we work with Aboriginal people and communities. We listen and learn from the knowledge, strength and resilience of Stolen Generations Survivors, Aboriginal Elders and Aboriginal communities.
