Currently pursuing a double degree in Civil Engineering at Charles Sturt University, she also works as a Cadet engineer at Northrop. Miranda has made significant contributions to internal policy development and sustainable design solutions to drive Northrop towards Carbon Neutrality by 2030. She co-created the 'Hustle' mentoring program to provide equal opportunities to regional communities and young people facing adversity. Miranda has been recognised for her achievements, including being named the 2022 New South Wales Presidents choice NAWIC winner and a finalist for National Women in Industry Rising Star of the year. She hopes to create opportunity for her peers back home by taking up a seat on the 2024 Youth Advisory Council. "I am thrilled to have been selected as a member of the 2024 YAC. This presents an incredible opportunity for me to represent my community and ensure that our voices are not only heard but that they are also valued", said Miranda. |
