Since October 2023, the NSW YAC 2024 has held three meetings.

The YAC have:

  • met with the Hon. Rose Jackson, Minister for Water, Housing, Homelessness, Mental Health and Youth, and with the Hon. Natasha Maclaren-Jones, Shadow Minister for Youth, Homelessness, Disability Inclusion and Families and Communities.
  • consulted with internal and external agencies to provide feedback. This includes:
    • Ministry of Health
    • School is for everyone (SIFE)
    • TeACH Thrive (WSU).
  • participated in various training and skills development opportunities including:
    • advocacy training
    • project management training
    • public speaking training.
